Rick Grimes

Hello, my name is Rick Grimes.  I am originally from Pennsylvania.  I met my wife Becky, who is from Shiprock, in College in Missouri.  I chased her back to New Mexico and we were married 39 years ago.   We raised 3 children in Kirtland and later in Farmington.  We are now enjoying 4 grandchildren in the local area and 2 in Phoenix.  I have worked for 38 years at the Four Corners Power Plant.  I am currently managing various environmental projects and previously I was the Plant Environmental Health and Safety Manager. Becky and I are both preacher’s kids and have been Christians since childhood.  As my responsibilities in raising children and in other areas have changed, my desire to serve God in new ways has been growing.

I am extremely excited about the vision for Pinion Hills that Church Leadership has shared with the congregation.  I am humbled by the potential opportunity to serve the congregation on the Board of Elders.  I trust that God will use the skills and experience that He has given me to bless others and give glory to His Kingdom.

Fred Proctor

Hello, my name is Fred Proctor and I have been invited to serve on Pinon Hills Community Church’s Board of Elders.  My wife Lori and I have lived in the Farmington area for almost 40 years and have four children who are raising their families here as well.  I have worked in the oil and gas service sector during that time period designing, building, maintaining, using the equipment, and now teaching others to safely do the same.  This environment influenced me to venture from the Christian walk which I had begun early in life.  With the passing of time and God’s divine intervention I returned, as did the prodigal son, to a loving Father and a wonderful church family to continue that walk.
I pray that my “get er done” spirit and years of experience will be of use as the Pinon Hills community grows.  I pray that through my life’s experiences I can help my brothers and sisters in Christ to remain focused on God’s mission for their lives, and inspire those whom I encounter in the coming years to want to enter into a relationship with Christ alongside us.  I’m very excited to see where God is leading us and excited to be a part of this great journey we are embarking on.

Darren Woodson

My name is Darren Woodson, DVM. My wife, Margie, and I have owned Valley Veterinary Clinic Pet Lodge and Salon in Farmington since graduating from Kansas State School of Veterinary Medicine in the mid-eighties. We have been blessed with three children, Kelsy, Kendra, and Shane, and have been empty nested since 2012. We feel very fortunate to have served the community through our business and we cherish the relationships we have made with our staff, our clients, and their pets!
Personally, I am feeling a calling to finish strong in my life; not only at work but to give back in serving PHCC. I have enjoyed and learned so much in running a business and strongly believe in the entrepreneurial spirit God has put in our DNA.
The principles in Genesis to create, own, and grow, as well as PHCC’s vision to reach, grow, and serve, are drastically needed in todays culture! I pray that my life experiences can be used to benefit God’s will for the amazing future of PHCC.
